By means of it employees, partners and customers of an organisation receive access to necessary information and services, in accordance with their tasks and access rights.

The Portal, being a single entrance point to the information environment of an enterprise, provides for a transparent access to the data of automated business management systems, document flow, corporate data storage, systems of group work, and management of business processes.

What equipment is necessary for installing the IT-BRAMA Corporate Portal?
 

For installation of the IT-BRAMA Corporate Portal, a customer needs an equipment meeting the requirements for deployment of Microsoft SharePoint (SharePoint Foundation, in particular) and Microsoft SQL Server. At this, Basic and Standard editions of the IT-BRAMA Corporate Portal can work with a free version of SQL Server Express (earlier - SQL Server MSDE).


Minimum requirements for deployment of the Corporate Portal are as follows:

Sufficient space is needed for main installation and diagnostics, for example, for keeping logs, debugging, creation of memory dumps etc. For using in production environment, additional free space is needed for everyday activities. In the production environment, constantly use free space equal to double RAM space.

  • 64-bit 8-core processor for medium environments (from 1,000 to 10,000 users)

Hard drive space depends on Microsoft SharePoint content volume.

How much time is needed for installation of the IT-BRAMA Corporate Portal?
 

We allocate 2 days for installation, set-up and launch of the IT-BRAMA Corporate Portal. It should be noted that if a standard IT-structure is realised in a company using standard access limitations defined for installation of an SQL Server, then the installation process goes quickly and smoothly. We cannot predict what can hamper the deployment of a certain Microsoft SharePoint service. We encountered such cases in our practice and the time for installation can take up to 5 calendar days then.
